 Dad  bought the canoe. It is a Gilrog brand; made of galvanised iron with flotation bulkheads at each end. Dad purchased the canoe in the basement level of Boans Perth Store ( down the stairs- to the right and towards the back) for I think £12-6-00 or perhaps 12/6 ( 12 shillings and 6pence.)
