From Jerome Toonen - 0439 757 277 To OVER 45’S SOCIAL CANOE CLUB members Sharna Farquhar from the ASCOT KAYAK CLUB (via Kevin Russell) has asked me if I would circulate the following information and attached flier to members of the Over 45’s Social Canoe Club. The Ascot Kayak Club is holding a “COMMUNITY – BRING AND BUY DAY “ at the Club premises -Garvey Park on Saturday 10 July 8.00 am to 12 noon. This is an opportunity for you to bring any kayak, ski’s or paddles, spray decks, etc that you no longer use but are still in good condition that you may wish to sell. (Like a Kayak swap meet!) There will be a few new kayaks and gear from local suppliers for you to view and try out. There will be a cake stall to raise funds for the Para Olympic paddlers. The AKC welcomes any donation of cakes/slices to help with the fund raising . (Special seats are required for the para canoes – and they are quite expensive) All interested paddlers and community members welcome.
